No fall football didn’t stop fans of UW-Madison’s College of Ag and Life Sciences from showing their support!
Alumni, friends, and family of the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) recently helped raise funds in place of holding the annual Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA) Football Fire-Up Event.
The annual Fire-Up event, which typically raises more than $20,000 to fund CALS scholarships, awards, and student activities, was cancelled this year to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
This year, with the generous support from sponsors, donors, and a matching grant from CALS, we raised more than $22,000 to fund these awards. We would like to give a big thank you to the sponsors, donors, and CALS for supporting our efforts during this time.
