Compeer Financial announced Mark Cade of Westby, Wis., has been reelected to the organization’s Board of Directors.
Cade will serve a four-year term and is one of three individuals elected this year. He was first elected to the board in 2006.
Cade is a self-employed soybean, alfalfa and beef farmer who serves on Compeer Financial’s Compensation & Governance and Corporate Giving committees. He also serves on the AgriBank District Farm Credit Council. He graduated from Western Technical College with degrees in farm business management and finance.
Cade is an active member of the local FFA alumni and enjoys spending time with his family and farming. He and his wife, Cheryl, have one daughter and two sons who are involved in their family farm.
Compeer Financial’s Board of Directors sets business direction, monitors and evaluates operations and considers client needs, the changing marketplace and Compeer’s commitment to serving agriculture and rural America.
In total, the Board has 15 members, 12 of whom are elected by member-owners. Three of them are appointed by the Board to offer additional expertise and insights. Additionally, 24 candidates were elected to a one-year term on the nominating committee, which is responsible for identifying, evaluating and nominating suitable candidates for director positions and future nominating committee positions.
