As the weather improves, include Focus on Energy in your spring plans

With the winter weather in the rear view mirror, many farmers in Wisconsin are looking to tackle outdoor projects around their operation. For many building projects, the folks at Focus on Energy can serve as an invaluable resource.

There’s even more upside to bringing Focus on Energy into the fold as new incentives have been rolled out for 2021. “Right now we’re able to offer some bonuses on those propane incentives,” says Energy Adviser Jessica Mlsna. Projects that would qualify under the propane incentives include anything from space heating to water heating or heat recovery.

Mlsna says that Focus on Energy advisers are more than willing to come out to an operation and see what incentives are possible for each producer. “We can come out to farm, we take a look at your equipment…usually it only takes about an hour, maybe less, depending on your facility,” she says. From there, your adviser can make some recommendations.
