Ag Consultants To Share Hard-Earned Insights

Agricultural consultants attending the American Society of Agricultural Consultants Annual Conference, Nov. 2–4 in Indianapolis, will have the opportunity to learn directly from peers during a special panel discussion titled “What I Wish I Knew Then/What I Know Now About Ag Consulting.”

The session is designed for both new and experienced consultants, as well as those considering entering the profession. Three ASAC members will share insights from their own practices and take questions from the audience.

Topics:

  • How they secured their first clients and built early business momentum.
  • Personal skills, attitudes and behaviors they discovered were essential in their early years.
  • Adjustments they made to business strategies to maximize client deliverables and long-term success.
  • What they would do differently if starting a consulting business today.

Panelists:

  • Dane Watson, founder, Watson’s Ag Forward
  • Paige Gilligan, Risk Mitigators and Advisors
  • Don Tyler, Tyler & Associates
