Ag Community Invited To “Building Resiliency In Today’s Agricultural Climate”

All the members of the agriculture community are invited to attend, “Building Resiliency in Today’s Agricultural Climate.” This event will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2024, and will be held from 9 am until 4:30 pm at the UW-Whitewater Community Engagement Center. The Center is located at 1260 W. Main Street in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

The program is being moderated by Pam Jahnke of the Midwest Farm Report. It will begin with a presentation by Bridgett Mason an Assistant State Climatologist at the Center for Climatic Research. Her presentation will be on “Weather Patterns and Projections in Wisconsin.” Other program highlights include a discussion on, “The Role of Biology in Soil Health” and a series of breakout sessions ranging from “Understanding Nitrogen Availability in Corn Production” to “Fencing Solutions for all Grazers.” The day concludes with social time & exhibit hall from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
